Day 12- walked 9k this morning- felt really good. Got some yoga to do later. Eating has been good and bad. I find I'm basically eating a bit better and feeling much better for it. I think my waist is beginning to return! And my legs are starting to look as though there is muscle there.

Well Linda, there's soooo much to do on the Gold Coast I don't know where to start. It all depends on what you like. If its shopping you're after go to Pacific Fair or Harbour Town. If you want to do a good jog there's a boardwalk that goes all the way from the centre of Surfers to the very end of Main Beach, which I'm sure you'd love (no hills). Of course you can always jog on the beach, that'll take you all the way back to Melb. lol.
If you like the country & walking through rainforests there's a heap of bus tours that will take you out the back (about an hrs drive).
Maybe we can catch up when you're here & I can show you around. Surfers is only about 15min drive from home.
Oh & my hubby works for a small telecomunications company that does contract work for the big boys (Telstra,AAPT,Optus etc).
